[模型解説] Solido（仏）製の完成品。スケール1/50のダイキャスト製で\3,000。恵比寿のミスタークラフトで購入した。 この車輌は、第二次世界大戦後にフランス陸軍が開発したＡＭＸ-１０ ＶＯＡ歩兵戦闘車で、ギンギラ銀のキャタピラが不釣り合いなこと以外はまずまずの出来。 製品評価：★★★☆☆ [改造解説] オリジナルモデルはダークグリーンの単色であるが、パープルブラックとブラウンで迷彩を施し、全体的にフレッシュをまぶしてくすませた。 そして、ギンギラ銀のキャタピラは黒メッキし、アクセサリーと操縦手人形（Corgi製ホワイトメタル海兵隊兵士を加工）を追加した。 |

[実車解説] Based on the AMX-10 PC type, the VOA is a version of the tracked troop carrier meant for the forward controllers. Its only armament is a .30 machine-gun used for self-defence, but the whole power of the AMX 10 VOA lies in its optical equipments that spot and bring the devastating fire of AUF-1 self-propelled guns on the enemy. The information is automatically transmitted to the regimental HQ via the "Atila" chain. All the day and night observation means are located in the two-seater turret.Every AUF-1 battery includes two VOA. This vehicle saw action in Bosnia where in addition to its classical missions of artillery ranging the VOA designated some targets for NATO air strikes. |
